We are looking for a Patent Assistant to support our patent agenda through strong administration, coordination, and deadline management. The role focuses on ensuring smooth communication with patent attorneys and internal stakeholders, while keeping all patent-related activities on track.
Key Responsibilities
Assistance with categorizing/pre-sorting monitoring tasks into relevant/irrelevant
Correspondence with law firms and government agencies
Maintaining follow-up reminders / internal deadline management
Updating/maintaining SharePoint Online lists
Conducting patent searches
Drafting pleadings regarding claims
Monitoring deadlines regarding claims
Assisting with drafting IPM (Intellectual Property Management) process
Entering historical data into SharePoint Online
Contract review
What We’re Looking For
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Experience in back‑office or coordination roles
Good English communication skills
Ability to manage high workload reliably
Interest in learning patent/technical topics (Deep technical background not required)
Working Model & Location
Hybrid work is possible from Czech Republic (Prague location is preferred) 2 days in the office, 3 days remote
Regular travel to Germany approx. 1–2 times per month (more frequent travel during the onboarding phase)
Interaction with colleagues and inventors worldwide
