We're looking for an IT Platforms Engineer who will be responsible for the architecture, governance, and hands-on engineering of enterprise IT platforms across both cloud and on-premises environments.

You will own the platform and its architecture, with senior-level operational support, and ensure the platforms are well designed, secure, scalable, and properly governed. You will also actively support their operation, troubleshoot, and drive continuous improvement.

You'll play a key role in bridging architecture and operations, ensuring that platforms are not only correctly designed but also effectively implemented, maintained, and optimized in production.

What You'll Do:

Platform Architecture & Engineering

• Design and maintain the architecture of enterprise IT platforms, including both cloud and on-premises solutions
• Translate architecture into implementable solutions, ensuring alignment between design and real-world operation
• Define standards, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps for assigned platforms
• Actively participate in implementation and engineering activities, not only design

Platform Governance & Standards

• Define and enforce platform governance, policies, and configuration standards
• Ensure consistency and compliance across environments through standardization and automation
• Participate in architecture and change review processes

Platform Operations (L2/L3 Support)

• Provide advanced operational support (L2/L3) for assigned platforms
• Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes
• Collaborate with L1/L2 teams by providing expert escalation support and guidance

Identity, Collaboration & Workplace Platforms

• Architect, implement, and support platforms within the Microsoft ecosystem, including:
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) / Identity & Access Management
• Microsoft 365 services
• Exchange Online
• Endpoint management (Intune)
• Ensure these platforms are secure, well-governed, and aligned with enterprise standards

Automation & Scripting

• Develop and maintain automation solutions to improve platform deployment, configuration, and operations
• Use tools such as PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and other scripting/automation frameworks
• Promote infrastructure/platform as code and automation-first approaches where applicable

Security & Compliance Alignment

• Ensure platforms are designed and operated according to security best practices and compliance requirements
• Implement and support identity security, access control, and platform hardening measures

What You'll Bring:

• Strong experience with Microsoft ecosystem platforms, including:

Microsoft 365
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Exchange Online
Intune/endpoint management

• Proven experience in platform engineering and L2/L3 operations support
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts and enterprise platforms
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
• Experience working with Microsoft Graph API or similar automation/integration tools
• Ability to design, implement, and operate platforms (not purely an architectural role)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments
• Understanding of cloud and/or on-prem infrastructure architectures
