We are looking for a new colleague to join our Supplier Quality team!

Your Main Responsibilities

We’re looking for a skilled Supplier Quality Development Engineer to strengthen our Quality team. In this role, you’ll evaluate and develop suppliers, conduct audits, support production transfers, manage corrective actions, and ensure the quality of purchased materials. You’ll collaborate closely with Purchasing, Quality, and Production teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Support production transfers from SCHURTER to suppliers
• Evaluate and register new suppliers
• Cooperate with Strategic Purchasing on supplier assessments
• Develop suppliers and manage supplier phase-out processes
• Support continuous improvement of supplier performance
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate supplier audits
• Manage supplier corrective actions
• Perform on-site inspections at suppliers
• Support the Quality Assurance team in resolving supplier claims
• Support the APQP team in evaluating suppliers
• Act as process owner for supplier-related processes within the IMS

What We Expect from You

• Technical apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical field
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Experiences 5 years in production, 3 years in quality control, 3 years as project or production leader, 3 years as a 2nd party auditor
• Certifications IATF 1st/2nd party auditor, VDA 6.3 process auditor
• Strong knowledges of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016
• Analytical, systematic problem-solving mindset
• Negotiation skills, confident and trustworthy demeanor
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Time flexibility
