Installation Engineer (300)

Job description:

• Providing engineering support to experimental teams in developing equipment and in coordination of work with other teams.
• Installation and operational support of various technology subsystems in a specific experimental area, such as: motion control and cameras, distribution of clean compressed air, technical gasses, laser in-vacuum beam distribution.
• Acceptance testing of new components and electronical devices.
• Writing technical specifications for parts and subsystems and organizing procurement and manufacture of custom build components.
• Supporting user experiments with preparation of experimental equipment, installation and testing.

Requirements:

• University degree in a technical or natural sciences subject, or secondary school if sufficient experience is demonstrated.
• Demonstrated suitable professional experience relevant to the above listed work topics, for example experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, in vacuum technology, geodesy or in installation of industrial gas and cooling systems.
• Pro-active, team oriented, detail-oriented person with good communication skills.
• Working knowledge of English, verbal and written.
