Job Description:

The Consolidation specialist is responsible for preparing consolidated reporting packages and monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS for all Group entities. Key responsibilities include implementing consolidation instructions, supporting the accounting team, reviewing account conversions, and liaising with third-party administrators and financial teams. The role also involves improving accounting and reporting processes, organizing training sessions on consolidation, coordinating data collection within the Group structure, and ensuring timely reconciliation of inter-company balances. Additionally, the consolidation specialist confirms subsidiary compliance with accounting policies and handle post-acquisition adjustments related to acquisitions, mergers, sales, and restructuring.

  • Preparation of consolidated reporting package and monthly consolidated financial statements.
  • Participation in the preparation and implementation of consolidation instructions.
  • Support accounting team - consolidation and Group manual related questions.
  • Review of accounts` setting and conversions.
  • Liaise with third party administrators and financial teams.
  • Improve accounting and reporting guidelines and processes.
  • Organization of training sessions.
  • Coordinate data collections within the Group structure.
  • Review and confirm accounting treatment of significant transactions, such as acquisitions, mergers, sales, restructurings.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of the IFRS consolidation and reporting for Group entities, including translation of foreign currency financial results to the Group currency.
  • Support junior members of team.
  • Ensure all (inter-company) balances are reconciled in time and escalate matter in case of differences.
  • Support external auditors by providing assistance with regard to the financial statement reviews and annual audit of IFRS consolidated financial statements.
  • Confirm subsidiary compliance with adoption of key accounting policies

Who are we looking for:

  • You have a university degree in Finance and Accounting or similar. ACCA or any similar certification welcome.
  • You have 4 years of experience in a similar position (experience within the Real Estate industry would be an asset).
  • You have knowledge in CZECH GAAP and IFRS. Any other local GAAP would be an advantage.
  • You are a proficient user of MS Office. Microsoft Dynamics (Axapta), and Reporting.CZ knowledge will be appreciated.
  • Proficient knowledge of English language. Knowledge of German language will be an advantage.
  • You are organized, meticulous and self-motivated.
  • You have a good relationship and a strong verbal and written communication skill.
  • You can work independently in a dynamic environment.
