The Compliance Analyst (Fixed-Term / Backfill) role supports the Compliance function across Czech Republic and Slovakia, with exposure to selected EMEA initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the company operates in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and global standards, while actively supporting business growth in a highly regulated environment.

This is a one‑year fixed‑term position

Key Responsibilities

  • Support risk assessments and control activities within the global Non‑Financial Risk Management framework, including documentation and follow‑up.
  • Coordinate regular compliance activities such as monitoring and testing, and prepare reports, statistics, and analyses in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to projects related to legislative changes and the implementation of new policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Review, identify, and monitor activities that may not be compliant with applicable regulations or internal rules, including escalation where appropriate.
  • Coordinate the preparation, update, and maintenance of internal compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Provide professional compliance advice and guidance to employees on topics such as AML, GDPR, IDD, Product Oversight & Governance (POG) and related regulatory areas.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Law.
  • Solid knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and integrity.
  • Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and escalate risks in a timely manner.
  • Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Compliance or Risk Management within a financial services or insurance company.
  • Knowledge of the insurance sector and its regulatory environment.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Interest in professional growth and continuous learning within Compliance and regulatory topics.
