• Our client is a well-established, dynamic, and growing manufacturing company specialising in high-volume plastic production. Known for high-quality standards and technical innovation, they are looking for a hands-on and experienced Production Manager to lead their production team to the next level.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring 24/7 manufacturing activities run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), cycle times, and machine uptime.
• Lead, mentor, and schedule a team of production supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement (Lean/5S/Kaizen).
• Troubleshoot injection moulding/extrusion processes, optimize machine settings, and reduce scrap rates.
• Ensure compliance with all quality standards (ISO) and Health & Safety regulations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics departments to ensure seamless workflow.
• Reporting to Plant Manager ( acting as his deputy )

Requirements :

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in production management within the plastic industry (injection moulding/extrusion).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Plastics Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in leading large teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and TPM.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), Czech or Slovak
• Hands-on, result-oriented, and able to solve technical issues under pressure.
