Our client is one of the largest companies in the field of motion control technologies and employs about 58,000 people worldwide. They have been operating in the Czech Republic for more than 25 years.

The company is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead its operations. This role is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence, managing the local team, and implementing Lean strategies to achieve corporate goals. It is an ideal opportunity for a results-oriented leader with a strong technical background.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of strategies focusing on Lean initiatives and sales growth
• Oversee Manufacturing and Process Engineering to ensure maximum efficiency and economy
• Ensure the operation has adequate inventory, production scheduling, and efficient shipping/receiving logistics
• Develop and manage the annual budget and investment plans
• Drive a culture of accountability through coaching, mentoring, and talent management
• Take responsibility for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People within the location
• Work closely with customers to promote their technologies and maintain premier service levels

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business
• At least 8 years of experience in Operations Management, including a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role
• Functional understanding of cost accounting and its practical application
• You must be an innovator who fully embraces and practices Lean Enterprise principles
• Strong command of English and Czech
• Valid driving license (Category B)
