The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units within Prague´s Global Business Centre. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. In addition, the HR Business Partner may take a leading role in responsibilities including but not limited to employee relations, works council relations (if required), training and development, compensation and benefits administration and talent acquisition.
Accountabilities:
- Partners with senior leaders of the assigned departments to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, performance management and succession planning.
- Collaborates with leaders to optimize business success through HR initiatives, such as the annual Engagement cycle
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Provides strategic advice, support, counsel and services to internal business partners, and external audiences.
- Trains and gives presentations to groups of employees on various topics including policies and programs.
- Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Job Requirements:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in similar role, experience from shared service center environment is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of Czech employment-related laws and regulations.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, workforce planning, succession planning, employment relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and any applicable employment laws.
- Ability to work onsite in hybrid model.
- This role is a maternity cover.
