We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel who will own corporate governance and compliance across the Group, support corporate structuring, run our contract management agenda, and help the business navigate EU regulatory matters with practical, business-friendly solutions.

You'll work on high-impact corporate governance matters in a fast-scaling European group, in a genuinely international environment with high autonomy. You'll partner closely with leadership and key functions (Finance, HR, Ops) to keep the business compliant and moving — and you'll be trusted to own your agenda end-to-end, from strategic legal questions to the operational backbone that keeps the legal function running.

What you'll do

You'll be the go-to legal expert for corporate governance and corporate law topics across the Group, and you'll keep our legal operations running smoothly:

• Own the corporate governance agenda: board materials, governance filings, corporate records, and internal governance frameworks
• Support investor and shareholder matters, including shareholder agreements and related documentation
• Support intragroup structuring and corporate matters across affiliates and subsidiaries
• Advise on EU regulatory topics relevant to Rohlik's model (e-commerce regulation, commercial law, corporate finance)
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts
• Run our contract management agenda: maintain the contract repository, track key terms, deadlines and renewals, ensure proper signing, archiving and version control, and support users across the business in navigating the contract lifecycle
• Handle the administrative side of the legal function: corporate filings, powers of attorney, signature processes, document workflows and related administrative tasks
• Manage legal projects end-to-end: align stakeholders, set timelines, drive execution, coordinate external counsel
• Identify risks early, remove roadblocks, and propose solutions that work in real life — not only on paper

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in Law (bar exam preferred)
• 4+ years of legal experience with strong focus on corporate governance and corporate law
• Working knowledge of the EU legal environment: corporate and commercial law, with familiarity with regulatory and e-commerce topics
• Hands-on, organized approach — comfortable owning both legal substance and the administrative and contract management work that goes with it
• Strong project ownership: you deliver high-quality work on time, with minimal escalation
• Clear communicator who can explain legal risk and options in a business-friendly way
• Confident, pragmatic and solutions-driven mindset
• Fluent Czech and Advanced English required
