The Opportunity
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll across several countries within the Southeastern Europe cluster. You’ll work closely with HR, Finance, Tax, and external vendors in a truly international environment, gaining exposure to complex payroll processes and regional operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
End-to-end Payroll Delivery
- Manage monthly payroll cycles for assigned countries
- Coordinate with external payroll providers (e.g. ADP, Celergo)
- Validate payroll inputs, perform output checks, and support sign-off
- Handle month-end and year-end payroll activities, including reconciliations and reporting
Time & Attendance
- Ensure accurate and complete time & attendance data before payroll cut-offs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies
Compliance & Controls
- Execute payroll controls and maintain audit-ready documentation (including SOX)
- Ensure compliance with local legislation (tax, social security, labour law)
- Support audits and monitor regulatory changes
Employee & HR Support
- Handle payroll-related queries via ServiceNow in a professional and timely manner
- Support benefits and deductions processes in collaboration with HR teams
Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
- Work closely with regional HR, Finance, and external providers
- Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues when needed
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to simplify and improve payroll processes
- Contribute to regional projects and transformation initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in payroll processing, ideally in a multinational environment
- Strong understanding of outsourced payroll models (e.g. ADP Streamline, Celergo)
- Knowledge of payroll legislation, tax, and social security frameworks
- Experience working with multiple countries/entities is a big advantage
- Fluent English (additional European language is a plus)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and solution-driven mindset
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
