For our Business Area ISBL Projects, we are looking for an experienced Business Development / Proposal Manager who understands how such projects are born — and how make them a success.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who enjoys combining business acumen, technical understanding and personal relationships, and who still feels curious, energized and motivated to shape.
Your Responsibilities
- Expanding business opportunities and acquiring new contracts in various delivery models
- Establishing and developing relationships with new Clients across our markets
- Maintaining and growing relationships with existing Clients to identify future project opportunities
- Representing Bilfinger in cooperation with international business associations, trade agencies and economic zones
- Supporting the preparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals
- Active involvement in contract negotiations and commercial discussions
- Close cooperation with engineering, project and management teams
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, construction or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales, business development or commercial roles within engineering, construction or consulting
- Solid understanding of industrial project delivery (planning, design, construction, project management)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive mindset, independence and flexibility
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Polish language skills are a strong advantage, but not a requirement
- Willingness to travel for business purposes
