Senior Controller (On-site, Prague)

Some people see spreadsheets.You see stories, risks, opportunities… and that one cost center that suddenly went completely off script.

If forecasting, planning, reporting, and making sense of financial chaos sounds like your thing, we might have a chair (and probably several Excel files) waiting for you in our Prague office.

We’re looking for a Senior Controller to help steer finance activities across all GuideVision entities (part of Infosys). You’ll work closely with the CFO, management, and Infosys Group Finance — meaning your work will actually matter and not end up buried in a shared folder called “Final_v2_REAL_FINAL”.

Your Mission:

Planning & Performance Steering

• Own and coordinate the fiscal year planning process
• Analyze variances, explain performance, and identify opportunities before they become problems
• Keep financial performance aligned with targets and business reality
• Politely challenge assumptions when the numbers disagree

Management Reporting & Decision Support

• Prepare management reporting people actually want to read
• Deliver insights that support strategic and operational decisions
• Handle budget vs. actuals analysis and prepare materials for the CFO and Infosys Finance
• Turn “something feels off” into concrete financial explanations

Business Partnering

• Work closely with Business & Cost Centre Owners
• Act as a trusted finance partner, not “the finance police”
• Support decision-making with clear financial insight and commercial thinking

Forecasting, Flash & Outlook Reporting

• Prepare revenue and cost forecasts for upcoming quarters
• Ensure local reporting aligns with Infosys group expectations
• Help everyone stay surprised by good news only

Cash-Flow Oversight

• Monitor cash-flow, liquidity, AP/AR, and bank balances
• Optimize working capital and maintain financial visibility
• Prepare projections and keep a close eye on financial health
• Because “we’ll check cash later” is rarely a good strategy

Revenue & Group Processes

• Support revenue recognition processes from a finance perspective
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with group finance requirements
• Collaborate with both local and Infosys finance teams

Who We Are Looking For

• 5+ years in controlling, FP&A, or management reporting
• Strong understanding of P&L management, planning, forecasting, and cash-flow control
• Experience in international and multi-entity environments
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to explain numbers clearly
• Advanced Excel skills (yes, we know everyone says that) and ERP experience; Workday is a major plus
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Fluent English required; Czech is a clear advantage
