- Develop and implement a business development strategy focused on profitable growth and long-term sustainability
- Identify, approach, and acquire new customers in target industries and markets (focus on railway industry)
- Drive market expansion initiatives and penetrate new market segments
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with volume, revenue, and budget targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, delivery terms, payment conditions, and contractual agreements
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and strategic partners
- Diversify the company’s portfolio into new profitable business segments
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to align customer requirements with technical capabilities
- Provide regular reporting, business analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to senior management
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade fairs
- Support global sales initiatives and cooperate with sister companies within the group where applicable
