About the Role
The Head of Marketing is a key strategic and executive position responsible for leading the marketing function across the company's accommodation platforms, including Hotely.cz and SPA.cz. The successful candidate will combine strong brand and commercial instincts with customer understanding, strategic thinking, and the ability to build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
This role sits at the intersection of brand, customer experience, commercial strategy, and product — shaping how customers perceive, trust, and engage with the company’s brands across all touchpoints. The role reports directly to the Czech Market Leader and functionally to the Group CMO.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Define and own a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to business objectives across all platforms.
Set, manage, and optimise the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spend.
Establish clear, measurable KPIs and report progress to senior leadership.
Channel Management
Define and evolve the positioning and identity of the company’s brands across markets.
Lead integrated brand campaigns across digital, content, social, PR, partnerships, and CRM channels.
Ensure consistency of messaging, tone of voice, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
Strengthen brand awareness, consideration, customer loyalty, and repeat engagement.
Guide performance marketing and SEO activities to ensure acquisition efforts support broader brand objectives.
Conduct regular performance reviews and foster continuous professional development.
Mentor team members across disciplines, raising the overall capability of the function.
Analysis & Optimisation
Translate complex data into actionable strategic insights and decisions.
Oversee an ongoing programme of A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation.
Maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks for key marketing metrics.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Technology
Work closely with product, sales, and development teams to align go-to-market activities.
Own the marketing technology stack; evaluate, implement, and manage tools and platforms.
Team Leadership
Recruit, develop, and retain marketing talent; build a culture of ownership and experimentation.
Conduct regular performance reviews and foster continuous professional development.
Mentor team members across disciplines, raising the overall capability of the function.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
At least 3 years of experience leading a marketing team, ideally within a digital or e-commerce environment.
Experience developing multi-channel brand campaigns.
Experience leading consumer-facing brands.
Proven track record of delivering growth across acquisition and retention channels.
Fluent English and Czech (written and spoken); ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
Comfortable working on-site at the Liberec office at least 3 times per week.
Data-driven approach with experience interpreting analytics platforms (e.g. GA4, Looker, or similar).
Familiarity with the Czech digital market.
Desirable
Experience in the travel, hospitality, or accommodation sector.
Experience managing agency relationships, creative partners, and external vendors.
Strong command of performance marketing, SEO, CRM, and data analytics.
