Country Accountant with French

We are looking for a new colleague to join our finance team as a Country Accountant, ensuring accurate and compliant financial operations for the French entity while supporting both US GAAP reporting and French local statutory requirements together with contributing to finance transformation and shared services development.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare financial data, reconciliations, and documentation to support statutory accounting and reporting
• Support statutory adjustments and audit deliverables with the French Financial Controller and external certified accountant
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings under US GAAP with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee core accounting processes in SAP, including AP, AR, cash management, and fixed assets
• Prepare statutory support schedules and GAAP bridge files in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal controls
• Improve SAP usage and finance processes through standardization, automation, and better data quality
• Contribute to finance transformation and Shared Services initiatives, supporting transitions and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

• A background in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience
• Confidence working with accounting systems and strong skills in MS Office, with SAP as a strong advantage
• Fluency in English and French, allowing you to collaborate across borders
• A detail-oriented and analytical mindset that ensures accuracy and compliance
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines independently
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges and improvements
• The ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders
• A mindset focused on accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement
