To your tasks will belong:
- Lead end-to-end process optimization initiatives, focusing on productivity, cost efficiency, quality, and service level improvements
- Analyze operational data sets to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities using advanced analytical techniques
- Design and deploy new warehouse and logistics processes, including layout concepts, workflows, and resource planning models
- Conduct process simulations, capacity planning, and cost calculations to support business cases and customer solutions
- Act as a key contributor in customer implementations and re-engineering projects, ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions
- Develop advanced analytical and operational tools (Excel, Access, or other platforms) to support decision-making and operational control
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional international teams (Operations, IT, Engineering, and Customer) to ensure alignment and successful implementation of changes
- Drive continuous improvement culture (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies preferred)
- Work in line with GXO Health & Safety standards and contribute to a safer workplace.
Profile of our ideal candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar role within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
- Strong expertise in warehouse processes, including inbound, storage, picking strategies, outbound, and inventory control
- Proven track record in process re-engineering, optimization, and implementation of large-scale improvements
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (incl. data modeling, automation, complex formulas; VBA is a plus)
- Experience with data analysis tools, process visualization, and performance tracking systems
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Very good command of English (minimum B2+/C1 level)
