We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join us in our Prague headquarters. Senior Accountant within the Statutory Financial Reporting and Taxes team is responsible for delivering year-end statutory financial statements and audits for a number of Eurowag group entities across Europe, and administration of tax returns and other reporting to local tax authorities for entities in scope of work.

Job requirements

• 4+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in a multinational corporation
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• Understand Financial Statements & fiscal closing activities
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail
• Project management skills
• English and Czech on communicative level
• Be a team player and supportive
• Ability to set priorities and work under time pressure with can-do attitude.
• MS Office skills, advanced level in MS Excel
• Experience with SAP 4HANA is an advantage
• Experience from the audit firm is an advantage

Job responsibilities

• Prepare supporting documentation for auditors and tax advisors, coordinate with other internal teams the preparation of documents requested by auditors and tax advisors
• Communicate with auditors and tax advisors
• Drive the preparation of annual financial statements, annual audits and tax returns to completion in good quality and on time
• Accounting entries related to tax accounts and year-end closing in local ledger in SAP
• Balance sheet reconciliations of tax related accounts
• Administration of tax returns and other reporting to local tax authorities
• Cooperate with internal and external auditors
• Participating in diverse projects in order to provide an expertise
• Engage in process improvement initiatives
