The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships is intended to support excellent researchers with a doctoral degree who want to conduct research abroad, acquire new skills and develop the career. The selected candidate will receive support from the Principal Investigator of the Gnotobiology Laboratory in the preparation of a competitive MSCA proposal. We offer a stable environment in a top-notch laboratory and the opportunity to work with a unique gnotobiotic mouse model in the field of microbiome-lung immunity crosstalk. The candidate will study the influence of selected bacteria and their surface structures on the immune response in the lungs of germ-free and conventional mice and mice with experimental model of allergic airway inflammation. She/he will analyze the cellular-humoral-molecular mechanisms of bacterial antigen action on immune response in the host lungs. Experiences with RNA-Seq, flow cytometry, bioinformatic analyses or other immune-related analyses are an advantage.

Must already hold a doctoral degree.
Must not have resided or worked in the Czech Republic
for more than 12 months in the 36 months prior to recruitment.

The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 has a deadline of September 9, 2026. An internal selection process must be completed in our laboratory, and the MSCA application must be drafted and submitted in the meantime. If funded, the first projects will start in May, 2027.
