We are looking for a COST ACCOUNTANT to join our Finance team at our manufacturing site in Tlumačov, Czechia. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded professional with an interest in controlling and working with data in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a strong sense for detail, is comfortable working with financial and operational data, understands their interconnections, and can structure them to support decision-making.

LOCATION: Tlumačov, Czechia (Hybrid – 2 days of HO per week)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide analytical and accounting support ISC Controller Europe and manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on cost accuracy and data reliability
- Perform and maintain material costing activities, including cost rolls, moving average analysis, and updates of purchased material costs in SAP
- Prepare data inputs for month-end and period-end closings, including accrual support, production settlements, and salary-related analysis
- Support preparation of forecasts and annual budget by collecting, validating, and structuring relevant financial data
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing performance with a focus on data preparation and variance identification, supporting further evaluation by the Controlling Manager
- Maintain and track savings and cost development, ensuring proper documentation and data consistency
- Support CAPEX tracking and reporting, ensuring alignment between planned and actual figures
- Prepare regular reports (e.g. cost development, material consumption, purchasing data) and ensure their accuracy and completeness
- Assist in preparation of business cases, ad-hoc analyses, and financial simulations by providing structured input data
- Ensure high-quality cost data for internal reporting and customer quotations
- Cooperate with the Shared Service Center (SSC) on accounting-related topics and data reconciliation
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring traceability of data
- Participate in inventory counts and inventory analysis, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation
- Support mandatory reporting (e.g. statistical reports such as GUS) by preparing required data
