The role

You will take full ownership of all finance and accounting functions for the Czech market, leading a two-person team and coordinating our external accounting partners. You report directly to the Group CFO and act as the financial partner to the GM and department heads.

This is a hands-on, commercially minded role spanning management reporting, accounting oversight, payroll, and two active projects: building out a new control environment using our data warehouse and implementing MS Business Central as our ERP. You get things done with a minimum of process and discussion.

What you will own

  • Reporting & financial management — monthly, annual and ad-hoc management reports with variance analysis and commentary for Group CFO and GM
  • Budgets & forecasts — coordinate with Group CFO and operational teams; prepare project, investment, and capex analyses
  • Accounting & compliance — oversee external accounting firm; statutory accounts, tax filings, and full compliance with Czech law
  • Payroll & HR coordination — accurate and timely payroll with external provider, in line with Czech employment and tax law
  • AP, AR & cash flow — manage procurement workflow, collections process, and cash flow monitoring
  • ERP implementation — lead the delivery of MS Business Central across the Czech market
  • Control environment — build and expand financial controls using our data warehouse, working with the IT team
  • Business partnering — translate financial data into operational insight; develop reporting tools that grow with the business

Our top candidate

  • Proven finance management or senior accounting experience, ideally in hospitality, property management, or a multi-entity operational business
  • Solid, current knowledge of Czech accounting standards, tax law, and statutory reporting obligations
  • Strong analytical capability — you build, interrogate, and present financial models with confidence
  • Proactive and delivery-focused — you identify problems early, take ownership, and deliver without being chased
  • Experience coordinating external accounting and audit relationships
  • Clear communicator across finance, operations, and senior management; comfortable in a lean, fast-paced environment
  • Fluent Czech (required) and working English (required for reporting, contracting, and ownership communications)
  • Proficient in Excel and O365; experience with ERP, accounting software, or BI reporting tools an advantage
