O pozici
Pracovní nabídka
What will you work on
You’ll join projects where hardware design, software, thermal analysis, and other disciplines meet. Each one is different. We’re working on PCBs for a probe heading to Venus, developing a satellite simulator, and contributing to a nanorobotics experiment that will be deployed in orbit.
In practice, that means you will
- Design the high-level architecture of the electrical system and keep an eye on interfaces between individual blocks.
- Requirement engineering: In some projects you’ll define requirements yourself; in others you’ll receive them (e.g., from the European Space Agency). Your responsibility will be to make sure the requirements make sense and that we meet them.
- Connect disciplines like CAD design, hardware design, and software. You’ll communicate dependencies, impacts, and trade-offs.
- Produce and maintain documentation as a key part of the work.
- Depending on the project, sometimes dive into more detail (schematics, PCB design, etc.).
Who will you work with
- You’ll be part of a small team including a systems engineer, an experienced hardware designer, and an embedded developer.
- On projects, you’ll also collaborate with people across the company such as project managers, analysts, mechanical designers, and quality engineers.
- You’ll stay in touch with partners (we co-develop products with other companies) and with representatives of the European Space Agency.
What we’re looking for
- Strong electrical engineering background (a degree is nice, hands-on experience even better).
- You can communicate across teams, clarify interfaces, align expectations, and drive decisions to closure.
- Experience with requirements engineering and/or verification (space background is a plus).
- You can read and work with technical/drawing documentation.
- You don’t mind documentation and standards, you understand that in space, they’re the “seatbelts.”
- Experience in telecom, hardware design, or some overlap into software (Python / test scripts) can be very useful.
Why join us
- You'll contribute to hardware and systems that are heading to space from technology for a Venus mission to orbital experiments and satellite platforms.
- This role sits at the intersection of electronics, software, mechanics, and systems engineering. You'll gain a broad understanding of how complex space systems are built and operated.
- You'll have a real influence on technical decisions, requirements, interfaces, and project direction. We trust engineers to shape solutions, not just execute tasks.
- Space is one of the fastest-growing high-tech sectors. Joining now gives you the opportunity to help shape technologies that will be used in future missions and commercial space applications.
