Finance Assistant

Location: Office-based in Vodňany with flexibility to work remotely when required.

Salary: CZK 22,000 to 25,000 per month (25 hours per week)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and cash management activities. This is an opportunity for someone with finance experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable:

Process supplier invoices, including three-way matching.
Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs.
Review invoices for compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
Reconcile supplier accounts and process AP cash applications.


Accounts Receivable:

Ensure accurate customer billing information.
Monitor customer payments, credit limits and credit terms.
Conduct credit checks for new customers.
Process AR cash applications and support invoice compliance reviews.


General Finance Duties:

Perform multi-currency bank reconciliations in Oracle.
Work closely with Shared Services teams to ensure smooth finance operations.
Support VAT reporting requirements and assist with ad hoc finance tasks.


What Success Looks Like

Accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Up-to-date records and spreadsheets.
Achievement of AR and compliance KPIs.
Adherence to reporting deadlines and SOX controls.


Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance or accounting role.
Good English communication skills and willingness to further develop them.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Analytical, organised and able to work independently.


Desirable

Experience with Oracle.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
