Role Summary
As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in translating business needs into effective technology solutions that enable scalable, efficient, and compliant operations. Acting as a trusted partner to business stakeholders and IT teams, you will drive analysis, design, and implementation of systems and process improvements that deliver measurable business value.
This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for 1 year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery sessions to capture business processes, requirements, and improvement opportunities.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend actionable solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Model processes using BPMN and define future-state workflows.
- Coordinate and execute application testing to ensure quality and compliance.
- Configure and optimize SaaS/COTS applications to support business processes.
- Develop user documentation and training materials for smooth adoption.
- Provide operational support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to maintain system stability.
- Monitor system performance and proactively recommend enhancements.
Essential Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and adapt to different audiences.
- Experience in Agile environments; familiarity with frameworks like SAFe or Scrum.
- Proficiency in collaboration tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow).
- Skilled in BPMN modeling and process improvement techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms and integration concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and reporting.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and modern delivery pipelines.
- Familiarity with integration technologies (e.g., web services, REST API, XML).
- Proven experience in insurance claims process.
Qualifications
- University degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Spoken languages level (Czech/Slovak - Fluent, English - Intermediate)
