Avenga is looking for an experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team full-time in Prague.

The project focuses on modernizing and enhancing critical internal banking applications while participating in a strategic platform migration initiative. You will work within an agile environment, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of new features while ensuring high-quality software delivery.

This is you

Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer.
Strong experience with Java/J2EE 11+ (minimum 5 years).
Solid frontend development experience using React and TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases.
Experience working with JMS and Kafka messaging systems.
Practical experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
Good knowledge of XML, Maven, and Git.
Experience working with AWS cloud services.
Experience using GitHub Copilot and modern development tools.
Previous banking industry experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Experience working in Agile software development environments.
Czech: Advanced level.

This is your role

Develop and implement new features for internal branch banking applications.
Participate in the migration of existing applications to a modern platform architecture.
Independently analyze, design, and resolve technical tasks.
Collaborate closely with architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the development lifecycle.
Troubleshoot and resolve production and development issues efficiently.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
