We are looking for an Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer who will own the reliability, scalability and operational excellence of TBS Biometrics infrastructure.
 
You will manage our hybrid environment consisting of on-premise systems, Azure cloud services and internal engineering platforms. Working closely with software developers, you will ensure secure, stable and efficient delivery of our biometric solutions worldwide.
 
You will be the primary owner of TBS internal infrastructure and cloud operations, ensuring reliability, security, and continuous improvement of systems supporting both our engineering teams and global biometric solutions. You will also help drive the adoption of AI-powered tools and automation across the company, enabling teams to work more efficiently while maintaining security and compliance standards.

In this role, you will

Infrastructure:

• Administer Linux-based infrastructure and services
• Manage Proxmox virtualization environment
• Ensure infrastructure availability and performance
• Support security hardening and infrastructure security initiatives
• Participate in vulnerability remediation activities
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities
• Maintain internal engineering platforms including Git repositories, Docker Registry, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and collaboration services

Cloud & Platform Engineering:

Operate Microsoft Azure environments
Manage cloud networking and connectivity
Maintain Cloudflare services and DNS infrastructure
Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
Provision, deploy and maintain virtual and cloud infrastructure supporting development and production environments

DevOps & Automation:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation
• Improve deployment processes and operational efficiency
• Support software development teams with infrastructure needs
• Evaluate, deploy and maintain AI-powered tools that improve productivity across engineering, operations and business teams
• Drive adoption of AI technologies, workflows and automation opportunities across the company
• Ensure secure, compliant and effective use of AI services and platforms

Monitoring & Reliability:

• Maintain monitoring and observability platforms
• Configure alerts and incident response procedures
• Analyze operational metrics and identify improvements
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Participate in infrastructure incident response and operational troubleshooting when required

Skills & Experience

Must Have:

• Linux administration
• Azure administration
• Proxmox
• Ansible
• Networking fundamentals
• Scripting (PowerShell, Bash or Python)
• Monitoring, preferably Grafana, Prometheus and Loki
• Virtualization platforms
• CI/CD concepts
• Docker
• Good written and spoken English

Education
