Commercial, Performance-Driven Leadership Role in a Growing Energy & E-Mobility Group

Czech Republic (Domažlice region)

We are a family-owned group of companies active across renewable energy, e-mobility and advanced manufacturing. Over the past years we have built a substantial energy portfolio – around 80 MWp of photovoltaics together with battery storage (BESS) across multiple sites – and we are now scaling our e-truck charging business (truckports) for major logistics customers.

Our group includes:

  • Photovoltaic plants and battery storage across multiple Czech sites
  • In-house battery production
  • Manufacturing of hypercharger housings
  • E-truck charging hubs (truckports)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a commercially minded Energy Manager to monetise the energy we generate and to run and optimise our truck-charging hubs. This is a build-it-from-scratch role with significant earning potential and room to grow into a leadership position.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Power Trading & Energy Monetisation

  • Market and sell our surplus electricity from PV plants and battery storage to third parties, in line with Czech market rules (OTE, ČEZ/EGD distribution, ČEPS).
  • Optimise marketing across spot and intraday markets, flexibility aggregation and ČEPS ancillary services (mFRR/aFRR); avoid feed-in at negative prices.
  • Use energy sharing (EDC) and battery storage to deploy surplus energy for load-shifting and higher self-consumption across our production sites – reducing curtailment and weekend standstills while maximising revenue.
  • Continuously optimise the marketing and support models across the entire asset portfolio – for example, the choice between a guaranteed feed-in tariff and the green bonus with self-marketing – to unlock additional revenue potential.
  • Locate and allocate generated volumes, identify buyers when batteries are full or prices are low, and build clear revenue and pricing concepts per MWh.
  • Build the business cases behind each route – yield per MWh net of distribution/wheeling costs, expected annual volumes (GWh) and break-even pricing.
  • Acquire and develop new electricity off-takers and partners.

Truckport & Charging Operations

  • Oversee, manage and optimise the truck-charging hubs.
  • Coordinate the daily charging schedule for e-truck fleets via a time-slot / booking system.
  • Help develop and operate the online booking portal for the charging hubs – slot reservations plus off-peak special offers for walk-up customers.
  • Manage large fleet customers and set up the slot and booking process.
  • Link charging windows to PV midday surpluses and favourable spot prices; help shape dynamic pricing, including LED price-display logic tied to the battery state of charge.
  • Report on utilisation, volumes and margins (KPIs).

Team & Expansion

  • Build and lead a small team to operate and expand further charging parks in 2026/27.
  • Plan and size battery-storage expansion as charging demand grows (from 2027).

YOUR PROFILE

  • Commercial background (business / economics, energy management or industrial engineering).
  • Strong interest in performance-based, commission-driven pay and a genuinely entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Knowledge of the Czech power market (OTE, ČEZ/EGD, ČEPS), spot/intraday trading and energy sharing (EDC) is a strong advantage.
  • Negotiation skills and a talent for customer acquisition (energy buyers and charging customers).
  • Analytical, structured and self-driven, with a high level of accountability and ownership.
  • Good MS Office / Excel skills and comfort working with data, portals and systems.
  • Czech, plus German and/or English, required.
  • Willingness to travel between sites and operational locations.
