Who are we looking for

Hangar 13 (2K Czech) is looking for a university student, recent graduate, or an aspiring creator passionate about game development, filmmaking, production, or audio engineering. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our Motion Capture team during an exciting, high-frequency production phase! You will gain hands-on experience in a world-class studio environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting our Mocap schedule. If you are looking for a flexible, dynamic role where you can help bring next-generation games to life while working alongside industry experts, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview

The Motion Capture Production Runner is the backbone of the studio floor, ensuring the physical environment, talent, and equipment are perfectly prepared for a seamless shoot. Focusing on hospitality, logistics, and post-shoot asset care, this role is ideal for a highly proactive, detail-oriented individual looking to break into the gaming and film industry from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Studio & Hospitality Setup: Ensure early arrival on set to prepare the studio floor, set up catering, make coffee, and arrange refreshments for the crew and talent.
  • Talent Tracking & Admin: Welcome actors upon arrival, monitor check-in times, report any delays to the Producer, and manage the signing of NDAs and confidentiality paperwork.
  • On-Set Maintenance & Safety: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio floor and green rooms throughout the day; assist the technical crew with stage safety by keeping cables and gear clear of hazards.
  • Post-Shoot Gear Care: Oversee the post-shoot maintenance workflow, including washing specialized mocap suits and sanitizing talent footwear.
  • Marker Inspection: Inspect footwear and gear post-shoot for missing or damaged retro-reflective tracking markers and immediately notify the technical crew of any issues.
  • Pre-Production Admin (WFH): Assist the production team remotely on non-shoot days with administrative tasks, such as drafting call sheets and booking transportation/taxis for crew and talent.

Requirements & Skills

  • Current University Student (any field, with a strong passion for film, TV, or gaming production).
  • An ultra-proactive "can-do" attitude—someone who sees a task and handles it without being asked.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with actors and clients.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with hands-on, physical studio tasks.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Czech (or Slovak) to coordinate with local vendors and international talent.
