As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, applications and both Windows and macOS environments.
This customer-facing role requires strong troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills to ensure reliable IT services and efficient resolution of technical issues.
Responsibilities will include:
- The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.
- Hardware and Network troubleshooting.
- Single point of contact for end user to receive support and maintenance for computers and network system.
- Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to help minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
- Coordinate and Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems.
- Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
- Installation and deployment of desktops (Windows 7, 8,2008, 2012 R2 serves and 2019 R2 Server).
- Installation and configuring of Antivirus and troubleshooting of MS Office products.
- Basic troubleshooting and ticket resolution and support of existing state Desk side staff.
- Configuration & installation of approved Applications.
- Capture all incidents in the ticketing tool on time and achieve 100% SLA's, Follow-up and Escalate (Internal / External) desktop related issues.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Desktop Support, providing end to end support in Operating System installations, upgrade, support and troubleshooting Enterprise applications plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software.
- You should have basic knowledge’s on AD, DHCP, DNS, NETWORKING.
- Technical certification will be an advantage (MSCA, MSCE, Red Hat, MCPIT etc.).
- Good communication skills in English.
- Availability to work in shift schedule (morning, afternoon and nights), on-site.
