As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, applications and both Windows and macOS environments.
This customer-facing role requires strong troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills to ensure reliable IT services and efficient resolution of technical issues.

Responsibilities will include:

  • The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.
  • Hardware and Network troubleshooting.
  • Single point of contact for end user to receive support and maintenance for computers and network system.
  • Diagnose and quickly resolve a wide range of Windows applications and networking problems to help minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity in a LAN/WAN environment.
  • Coordinate and Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems.
  • Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, printers and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
  • Installation and deployment of desktops (Windows 7, 8,2008, 2012 R2 serves and 2019 R2 Server).
  • Installation and configuring of Antivirus and troubleshooting of MS Office products.
  • Basic troubleshooting and ticket resolution and support of existing state Desk side staff.
  • Configuration & installation of approved Applications.
  • Capture all incidents in the ticketing tool on time and achieve 100% SLA's, Follow-up and Escalate (Internal / External) desktop related issues.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Desktop Support, providing end to end support in Operating System installations, upgrade, support and troubleshooting Enterprise applications plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software.
  • You should have basic knowledge’s on AD, DHCP, DNS, NETWORKING.
  • Technical certification will be an advantage (MSCA, MSCE, Red Hat, MCPIT etc.).
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Availability to work in shift schedule (morning, afternoon and nights), on-site.
