Are you an experienced accountant who enjoys taking ownership, ensuring accuracy, and continuously improving financial processes? We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in managing the accounting agenda for our legal entities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full accounting agenda for assigned legal entities and accounting areas.
  • Preparing monthly and year-end financial closings.
  • Processing and reviewing invoices, journal entries, and other accounting transactions.
  • Performing regular account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
  • Preparing financial statements and supporting internal reporting activities.
  • Coordinating with external accounting firms and supporting external audits.
  • Preparing reports for external stakeholders, including investor and statutory reporting.
  • Monitoring changes in Czech accounting and tax legislation and implementing them in practice.
  • Developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Participating in finance transformation projects, including ERP implementation, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of junior colleagues when needed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Secondary or university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in accounting.
  • Solid experience with monthly and annual financial closings and audit preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of Czech Accounting Standards (CAS).
  • Good understanding of Czech tax regulations, particularly VAT and Corporate Income Tax.
  • Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as Odoo, Premiere, or similar ERP solutions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.
  • Czech at a native or fluent level, English at an active working level.
