Logistics Buyer
Are you an organized, analytical professional with a passion for procurement and supply chain operations? Connect Group is looking for a motivated, communicative, and detail-oriented Logistics Buyer who is eager to grow in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will manage electronic component purchases, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely deliveries while contributing to overall supply chain efficiency and operational excellence.
About the Role
As a Logistics Buyer, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely procurement of components. You will handle purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and support internal teams with accurate and timely information. This position offers a great opportunity to work in an international environment and contribute to the success of a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase electronic components from an assigned portfolio of suppliers
Prepare and process purchase orders and related documentation in SAP
Monitor orders, ensure on-time delivery, and resolve any issues that arise
Maintain constant communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding order status
Handle shortages, warehouse discrepancies, and invoice-related issues
Track open orders and supplier delivery performance, taking corrective actions when necessary
Manage the full procurement cycle, from supplier inquiry to goods receipt
Prepare reports and perform data analysis, including spend analysis
Support Sales and Technical teams with quotations for tenders
Manage and monitor claims with suppliers and factories
What You Bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, or a related field
Experience: Previous experience in a Buyer or Purchasing role, preferably in logistics or supply chain
Skills:
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Experience working with SAP is an advantage
Languages:
Local language - Proficient
English - Proficient
Additional languages - a plus!
