Global Technical Support Specialist Junior
Technology doesn't always behave as expected. That's where you come in. As a Global Technical Support Specialist Junior, you'll help service teams and customers around the world solve technical issues, keep advanced scientific instruments running, and continuously expand your own technical expertise.
What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for technical questions from our global service teams and customers via chat, phone, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify faulty parts, and know when it's time to escalate more complex cases.
- Travel to customer sites to perform installations, repairs, testing, and other service activities.
- Work closely with colleagues across the global service organization to solve problems and share knowledge.
- Keep service documentation accurate and contribute to improving our knowledge base.
- Continue developing your technical expertise through training and hands-on learning.
What You'll Bring
Must have:
- Technical background – A degree in electrical, mechanical, or physical engineering.
- Electrical certification (formerly Decree 50/1978 Coll., now Gov. Decree 194/2022 Coll.) – If it’s expired, we’ll arrange training for you.
- English proficiency - You'll communicate with colleagues and customers from around the world.
- Driver's license (Category B) - You'll occasionally travel to support customers and service activities.
- Good understanding of electrotechnical principles - You're comfortable working with electrical systems and technical equipment.
- Basic knowledge of particle physics - You have a solid foundation and are eager to deepen your expertise.
- Problem-solving mindset - You enjoy troubleshooting technical issues and finding practical solutions.
- Customer-focused communication - You can explain technical topics clearly and build trust with customers.
- Collaborative and proactive approach - You work well with others, take ownership, and are always willing to learn.
Nice to have:
- Experience in technical support, field service, or equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of analytical or scientific instruments.
- Experience working with ticketing systems or technical documentation.
- Recent graduates with a strong technical foundation and a passion for learning are also encouraged to apply.
