The EMEA Banking Supervisor reports into the Subregional controller and is based in Brno. This role is primarily responsible for managing the daily cash in and out of around 60 bank accounts across EMEA. The EMEA Banking Supervisor works closely with Treasury and the Payables & Receivables Leaders to ensure accounts are properly funded. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring key controls are maintained in both the systems and the processes. The EMEA Banking Supervisor serves as a key partner to tax, and treasury as well as external auditor.

In addition to banking responsibilities, the role holds EMEA-level accountability for selected month-end close activities, reconciliation processes and participation in regional projects.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Maintain and update the banking rules in SAP
  • Ensure all bank statements are loaded on a daily basis
  • Reconciliation of Bank and ERP system on a daily and monthly basis
  • Ensure all bank transactions are cleared on a timely basis
  • Manage bank confirming processes
  • Ensure all month-end close processes run accurately and on-time
  • Oversee the preparation and review of relevant BS reconciliations
  • Maintain SAP Key Controls and other Finance Reporting Tools
  • Ensure all system and process controls are in line with Resideo Policies and local regulatory standards
  • Support the deployment of SAP and conduct necessary testing, as required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for banking partners across the EMEA region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (AP/AR, Controllership, IT)
  • Support bank account openings, closures, and restructuring initiatives
  • Own the EMEA Cash Pool process, including accounting entries, balance reconciliations, and coordination with controllership team
  • Assist in any finance related audits, as required
  • Ad-hoc miscellaneous duties and processes

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Accountant with 3+ years post qualification experience
  • Previous work experience in banking operations, AP/AR or finance
  • Fluent English, any other language is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables, basic formulas)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Hyperion)
  • Strong leadership, communication and inter-personal skills
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, payments, and cash management
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
