O pozici
What will you do
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented PostDoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) to join our research team in synthetic inorganic and coordination chemistry. The successful candidate will join research activities on the design, synthesis, characterization, and investigation of transition-metal complexes, new redox-active ligand systems, and molecular assemblies for applications.
The successful candidate will engage in high-impact research, acquire new scientific skills, and progress in their career within a dynamic and collaborative academic setting. The PDRA will be responsible for developing and executing both independent and collaborative research projects centered on the synthesis of innovative coordination complexes. The successful candidate shall possess broad knowledge and practical experience in multi-step organic and inorganic synthesis, particularly with air-sensitive compounds and reactions.
Key requirements
Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, or a related discipline. A minimum of three years of postdoctoral research experience is considered advantageous. The successful candidate will have an established record of research excellence, evidenced by high-quality publications, strong research output, and a demonstrated commitment to advancing scientific knowledge.
What do we expect
Familiarity with glovebox and Schlenk-line techniques for the handling of air- and moisture-sensitive materials is essential
substantial experience in developing synthetic routes, optimizing reaction conditions, purifying compounds, and investigating their reactivity toward small molecules (CO2, NOx and H2O)
A strong commitment to laboratory safety and adherence to established safety protocols are also required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Ability to write high-quality manuscripts suitable for peer-reviewed journals
Communication of the complex scientific concepts to specialists as well as multidisciplinary audiences
What may help you to win this position
Candidates with expertise in complementary research areas will be viewed favorably.
