BNP Paribas Cardif is offering you the chance to become a team member of Data & Analytics Team which helps Cardif Central Europe to improve and monitor Data Quality with the ultimate purpose to ensure business, analytical and technical activities, initiatives and projects can properly be executed by ensuring data availability and sufficient data quality.

We are looking for Data Scientist who will be mainly responsible for operational development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to serve our business model's transformation in order to meet our partners’ and clients’ expectations across the 6 countries where Cardif operates.

This role covers the following activities

• Contribute to the roll out of the regional Analytics roadmap, leveraging Advanced Analytics to improve services for clients and partners and enhance internal processes.
• Develop internal models for Claim Automation and Fraud Detection, and build solutions on top of existing LLMs.
• Source, validate, and analyze data.
• Understand underlying business processes.
• Design probabilistic modeling of business objectives.
• Perform technical analysis of model results during training and in production.
• Train and evaluate machine learning models, and design quality monitoring strategies over time.

Your profile

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Science.
• Core knowledge of Python, SQL, and Machine Learning.
• Theoretical understanding and practical experience with Classification, Regression, Clustering, and other basic concepts and principles.
• Experience with anomaly detection is advantageous.
• Ability to use libraries such as Pandas, Scikit learn, TensorFlow, Plotly, MLflow (or alternatives) for day to day work.
• Familiarity with NLP/LLM is a nice-to-have.
• Experience in finance or insurance is advantageous.
• Fluent in Czech or Slovak.
• Good level of English.
