We are looking for a Network Application Developer and Tester in C99 on projects of the multinational company operating in the field of industrial and business automation. The scope of work is to find and eliminate errors in an embedded application in the field of network communication implemented in C and write intelligent automated functional tests in Python.

We offer:

• Development of knowledge in the field of Ethernet-based networks and in the field of embedded development

We require:

• Routine knowledge of C or C++
• Knowledge of Python (preferably Python 3)
• Fast orientation in code
• Knowledge of debugging tools and ability to fix bugs
• Knowledge of English and willingness to communicate with teams from all over the world
• Willingness to constantly learn new things and improve

Advantage:

• Experience with embedded development and optimization for size
• Experience with multiplatform development (at least for Windows/Linux), a big advantage any embedded RTOS
• Knowledge of CMake, Git, UML
• Experience with agile development
• Knowledge of network communication (ISO/OSI model, BSD socket API)
• Knowledge of some network protocols in the cross-section of the ISO/OSI model: Ethernet, ARP, IP, BOOTP/DHCP, TCP, UDP, TLS, DTLS, DNS, syslog
• Experience with embedded environment (Raspberry Pi, Beagle Board, ...)
