We're partnering with an innovative, patient-focused biopharmaceutical company to appoint a Medical Lead – CEE, responsible for shaping and executing medical strategy across the region during a pivotal period of growth. This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in high-impact pre-launch activities, with a major focus on an upcoming hematology launch that will transform the treatment landscape for patients with rare diseases.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the regional medical strategy for key rare disease assets, with a primary focus on an upcoming hematology launch.
- Drive pre-launch readiness across CEE, ensuring markets are equipped with strong scientific and medical plans.
- Build trusted relationships with leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and healthcare professionals across the region.
- Partner closely with country medical teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a coordinated and successful launch.
- Generate and communicate scientific insights that shape strategy and support evidence generation.
- Represent the company externally as a credible scientific expert at congresses, advisory boards, and medical meetings.
- Collaborate with Market Access, Commercial, Clinical Development, and Regulatory teams to maximise launch success while maintaining the highest compliance standards.
What We're Looking For
- Significant Medical Affairs experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Experience in hematology, with rare disease experience highly advantageous.
- Proven involvement in pre-launch or launch activities, ideally across multiple countries or within a regional role.
- Confidence engaging with senior KOLs and influencing through scientific expertise.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across diverse CEE markets.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the CEE region.
