What will be your responsibilities?

• Take full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the logistics center building and its technical infrastructure.
• Coordinate construction works, facility upgrades, installations, and technical projects across the site.
• Manage inspections, preventive maintenance activities, and repairs of buildings, equipment, and warehouse infrastructure.
• Oversee Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including service planning, repairs, and supplier management.
• Manage warehouse equipment and racking systems, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of outdoor areas and coordinate yard management activities.
• Manage external contractors, service providers, and subcontractors operating on site.
• Oversee warehouse and site marking, including location labels, barcodes, safety signage, and operational visual standards.
• Maintain responsibility for site security systems and coordinate the resolution of security incidents.
• Investigate damage claims, coordinate corrective actions, and communicate with insurance providers.
• Prepare regular reports, monitor KPIs, and manage the facility budget.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, GXO internal standards, and L'Oréal customer expectations.
• Play an active role in the setup and launch of the new logistics operation, coordinating deliveries of equipment, racking systems, and technical infrastructure.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience in facility management, building maintenance, technical services, engineering, or project management.
• Ability to coordinate suppliers, manage technical activities, and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Good understanding of building systems, maintenance processes, inspections, and operational safety requirements.
• Strong organizational skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Comfortable working in a start-up environment and helping build new processes from the ground up.
• Good command of English, enabling daily communication with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Czech language level as a native speaker
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and reporting tools.
• Forklift (VZV) experience is considered an advantage. During the start-up phase of the operation, you may occasionally support the handling of equipment, unloading deliveries, and moving pallets within the facility. If you do not currently hold a forklift license, we will be happy to provide the necessary training and certification.

Nice to have

• Experience within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
• Previous involvement in start-up operations, site launches, relocations, or technical project implementation.
• Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and warehouse racking systems.
• Familiarity with Health & Safety, Fire Protection, and technical compliance requirements.
