This position is based in Czechia but requires extensive travel across Central Europe up to 80 % of the time.

Vaski is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our growing service team based in Brno. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing advanced CNC sheet metal processing equipment at customer sites across Central Europe. Approximately 80% of the role involves travel, and about 20% consists of remote support from your home office.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving technical challenges, working independently and travelling to support customers.
Your responsibilities
- Install, commission and service Vaski, Pivatic and Ursviken machines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
- Troubleshoot CNC control systems and machine automation.
- Perform preventive maintenance and machine inspections.
- Replace and adjust machine components to ensure optimum performance.
- Respond to customer breakdowns and restore production as quickly as possible.
- Prepare accurate service reports after each visit.
- Provide technical advice and operator support when required.
- Work closely with our technical support and spare parts teams to deliver excellent customer service.
What we're looking for
- Experience servicing CNC machine tools, sheet metal machinery or other industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is an advantage.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with PLC diagnostics or CNC controls is beneficial.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Good English language skills; German is an advantage.
- Valid driving licence (Category B).
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Central Europe

- Poland
- Hungary
Occasional travel to other European countries may be required.
