We are a branch of the international BEL Group, one of the world's largest producers of individually packaged cheese. We are looking for a new colleague to join our logistics team in the position of DEMAND PLANNER.

Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Main job description:

• Develop and maintain short- and long-term demand forecasts for our Swiss / Austrian market using statistical tools, market insights, and sales input.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing & Supply Planning
• Analyze sales trends, seasonality, promotions
• Responsible for setup of new product launches
• Monitor actual sales versus forecast (MAD/BIAS); identify variances and communicate root causes.
• Support the S&OP process by preparing and presenting demand plans and key performance metrics.
• Regularly review inventory levels and highlight risks related to overstock or out-of-stock situations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting processes and tools.
• Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy and customer service level

Our expectations:

• Min. high school education (preferably university degree)
• English language min B2 is a must! (German/French language as advantage)
• Good communication and collaboration skills - ability to work cross-functionally & cross-country (remotely)
• Analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SAP/APO/JDA/MAESTRO or other ERP systems).
• Logical and analytical thinking,
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Customer oriented person
• At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar position
