Make Psychology Happen Beyond the Classroom!
UNYP is looking for an Academic Internship Coordinator for its Master’s Program in Psychology (MPS).
Are you organized, people-oriented and good at making sure that everything—and everyone—stays on track? Join the School of Psychology at the University of New York in Prague and help guide students through every stage of their internship journey. From overseeing documentation and internship hours to collaborating with mentors and supervisors, you will play a vital role in supporting their success.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate the MPS internship process from placement through completion.
- Maintain the internship system, E-Learning pages, student records, documentation, and databases.
- Monitor students’ internship hours, progress, portfolios, evaluations, and completion of requirements.
- Follow up with students regarding missing or incomplete documentation and requirements.
- Coordinate the assignment and communication of internship mentors and supervisors.
- Provide students, mentors, and supervisors with relevant guidelines, information, and documentation.
- Maintain and update Internship Mentor and Supervisor Manuals.
- Communicate with internship organizations and support the development of suitable placement opportunities.
- Work closely with the Career Office on internship and career-related opportunities.
- Coordinate the collection and completion of internship evaluations and final assignments.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the MPS Program Director.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and quality assurance of the Internship Program.
We’re looking for: a highly organized and proactive professional with a degree in Psychology or a related field, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience in education, student support, internships or administration
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience in education, higher education, student support, internships, placements, or administration.
- Experience working with students and/or external organizations.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple students, deadlines, and processes independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with E-Learning and university information systems.
- Excellent written and spoken Czech and English.
- Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
