Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Complaint Management & Rapid Response
Customer Interface
· Primary quality contact for European customers (Volkswagen Group, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and other European Tier-1) across all Keboda global manufacturing sites.

· Ensure all customer complaints receive an initial response within 24 hours.

Lead Problem Resolution
· Lead the complete 8D problem-solving process: preparation, coordination, tracking, and closure.

· Collect returned parts, vehicle diagnostic data, and failed components.

· Perform preliminary failure analysis (continuity testing, visual inspection).

· Communicate technical findings to HQ Quality and R&D; drive effective problem resolution.

· Lead immediate containment at customer production sites: sorting, rework, replacement.

· Minimize the risk of customer line stoppages.

· Support preliminary assessment of quality-related costs and warranty claims.

2. Customer Communication & Relationship Management
Crisis Management
· Remain calm, professional, and customer-focused under pressure—including escalations, dissatisfaction, and line-shutdown risk.

· Manage customer expectations while allowing sufficient time for internal corrective actions.

Technical & Cultural Bridge
· Interpret and communicate customer quality expectations and technical requirements.

Eliminate communication barriers in automotive electronics terminology, including:

· CAN/LIN communication failures, EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) issues, EOS (Electrical Overstress)

· Other ECU-related technical topics

Quality Review Meetings
· Organize and participate in regular quality review meetings with customer Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs).

· Present corrective-action progress, quality-performance trends, and continuous-improvement activities.

· Strengthen customer confidence in Keboda's quality management capabilities.

3. On-site Support & Failure Reproduction
Vehicle Build Support
· Support customer vehicle assembly and validation activities.

· Monitor installation of Keboda ECUs (lighting controllers, chassis controllers, and other electronic modules).

· Identify potential issues.

Failure Reproduction
· Assist customers in reproducing intermittent failures.

Focus on ECU performance under extreme environmental conditions (High/low temperatures, Vibration, Humidity, Electrical disturbances)

· Collect critical diagnostic information to support root cause analysis by HQ.

4. Quality Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
Customer Portal Management
· Act as the primary contact for customer quality portals.

· Monitor portals daily; ensure new complaints are received, communicated, and responded to promptly.

Warranty Claim Review
· Support the Finance Department in reviewing customer warranty claims.

· Verify technical responsibility and claim validity.

· Prevent unreasonable or unsupported customer charges.

Qualifications

Experience
· Minimum 5 years of quality experience in the automotive industry.

· Direct customer quality experience with OEMs such as Volkswagen Group, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or other major automotive manufacturers.

Advantage: 

  • familiarity with automotive ECU manufacturing processes (SMT, wave soldering, conformal coating, final assembly).
  • knowledge of common ECU failure modes (soldering defects, component failure, electrical overstress, software malfunction, hardware failures).

Professional Skills
· Familiar with customer-specific requirements (CSR),

· Strong knowledge of automotive quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.

· Proficient in structured problem-solving methodologies: 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Root Cause Analysis.

· Able to independently prepare professional English 8D reports.

Language & Communication Skills
· Able to conduct technical discussions, negotiations, and presentations with customers independently.

· Capable of preparing professional quality reports, emails, and meeting materials in English.
