Developer Experience Engineer (DevEx)

We're looking for a Developer Experience Engineer (DevEx) to help shape the way engineering teams work across a global technology organization. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise with enablement, community building, and engineering culture initiatives.

Rather than focusing solely on software delivery, you'll work closely with development teams to improve productivity, simplify workflows, encourage best practices, and help engineers get the most out of modern development platforms and tools.

What You'll Do

• Enable development teams to adopt modern engineering practices and tools
• Deliver technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Create documentation, tutorials, technical guides, and reference implementations
• Build and nurture internal developer communities
• Gather feedback from engineers and translate it into actionable improvements
• Identify friction points in the developer journey and help remove them
• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, cloud, security, and software engineering teams
• Support adoption of engineering standards, frameworks, and internal platforms
• Advocate for developers and contribute to a strong engineering culture across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Experience in Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, or a similar technical role
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience leading workshops, training sessions, or technical enablement activities
• Solid understanding of modern software development practices and workflows
• Passion for Developer Experience and continuous improvement
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across teams
• Professional English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with GitHub Enterprise or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of code quality, security, and developer productivity tools
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
