What you will do
The Master Data Co-Ordinator is accountable for orchestrating the E2E set up of master data within our ERP systems. Taking responsibility for ensuring the correct data maintenance is executed within the ERP Systems of the EMEA Region. This may include the creation, modification, and deletion of key system data such as item records, bill of materials, packaging specifications, resources, tables, and routines.
Key Responsibilities:
Reference Data Management:
Create or modify data necessary for manufacturing at the EMEA sites, including item records, bill of materials, routines, and planning parameters for:
- Semi-finished products
- Finished products
- Raw materials
- Packaging items
- Utilize written information from the NPI team (Tracker), production, customer quality, or regulatory sources.
- Establish standard bills of materials for finished and semi-finished products based on specifications from the process, R&D, and quality departments.
- Ensure the coherence, accuracy, and reliability of reference data for items.
- Draft and update procedures and operational modes related to data maintenance processes.
New Products:
- Artworks: Responsible for the internal validation of artworks submitted by the design agency.
- System Configuration: Actively participate in the process of creating new materials, semi-finished, and finished products, which includes:
- Establishing standard bills of materials for finished and semi-finished products.
- Ensuring timely approval of forms until the item is effectively created in the system.
- Updating dashboards and monitoring performance indicators.
- Responsible for entering and ensuring the accuracy of planning parameters in the MRP system.
Management of Ranges / Phase-in / Phase-out:
- Participate in project teams during the introduction of new products or product changes.
- Coordinate the end-of-life process for products and their components with internal clients to minimize product downtime costs and reduce obsolete stock.
- Calculate stock coverage in the case of changes and discontinuations of references.
- Monitor the obsolescence of items in all IT systems.
- Create, modify, delete, or archive packaging labels.
Backup Activities:
- Ensure versatility within the planning/master data team (cover for absences, manage workload in specific workshops, etc.).
- Delegate responsibilities to the Data Technician partner during vacation periods.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience working in Master Data Management and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of item master data, Bills of Materials (BOM), planning parameters, and product lifecycle processes.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and integrity.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues proactively.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), product launches, phase-in/phase-out.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, packaging, quality, regulatory, or supply planning processes.
- Experience creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
