We are looking for an experienced QUALITY & OPEX MANAGER (M/F/D) to join our team in Tlumačov, Czech Republic. In this role, you will lead the plant’s Quality and OPEX team, ensure compliance with international standards, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

LOCATION: Tlumačov, Czech Republic (on-site)

AS THE QUALITY & OPEX MANAGER, YOU WILL:

• Lead and develop the Quality/OPEX team (3 direct reports), fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
• Oversee all aspects of product quality control, including claims management, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and other certifications (VDE, SKZ), acting as the plant’s representative during audits and certification processes.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and testing methods.
• Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to implement new testing methods and optimize quality processes.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives as the plant’s OPEX Champion, embedding operational excellence across departments.
• Liaise with state authorities and external partners on quality-related matters.
• Monitor and report on quality and operational performance metrics to senior leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years in quality management within a manufacturing environment, including ISO-certified systems and audits.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of Lean/OPEX methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Very good communication skills in English (B2/C1 level) and Czech (C2 level) – MUST HAVE.
• Customer-oriented mindset with flexibility to travel when needed.
