In this position you will carry out structural simulations for development of automotive lighting systems. In addition, you support internal research projects and actively work on improvement of our products.

Your responsibilities:

• Organize, execute, and evaluate simulation activities (mechanical and conjugated heat transfer (CHT)) for customer and internal development projects.

• Analyze simulation results, identify development risks and weak points, and propose improvement measures.

• Support the assessment of concepts, materials, and technical solutions during product development.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to provide technical expertise and simulation-based recommendations.

• Contribute to optimization activities focused on product quality, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Support the automation of simulation processes and the development of AI and prediction system tools.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

• Experience with simulation software for mechanical and/or conjugated heat transfer simulation (E.g. Siemens Altair Hyperworks, Siemens FloEFD); experience in laboratory testing is an advantage.

• Experience with mechanical/CHT PCBA simulation.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Good English communication skills.

• Independent, reliable, organized, and accurate way of working.

• Ability to work effectively both independently.
