English teacher

to join our team at Czech Air Navigation Institute (CANI)

and teach English to air-traffic controllers.

CANI is a business unit of the Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic. We are a modern Air Traffic Management training institute with 40 years of experience. We provide training and education to many Air Navigation Service Providers including our company’s personnel.

We require:

a native speaker of English;
English teaching qualification (a university degree in ELT; TEFL, CELTA, etc.);
experience in teaching English to adults;
communicative approach to teaching;
reliability and punctuality;
time flexibility is an advantage;
knowledge of aviation is welcome but not required.
 

Job description:

preparing and delivering English lessons in intensive courses for air-traffic controllers;
assessing students’ performance and providing feedback.
 

We offer:

part-time work (approximately 4 lessons once a week);
work in a very specific and professional environment;
an opportunity to design your own lessons within a specified syllabus;
well-equipped classrooms;
long-term cooperation.
 

Start date: January 2025

Place of work: CANI, K Letišti 934/2, Praha 6 and Václav Havel airport, Aviatická 1039/6, Praha 6.
