KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General Ledger Management: Manage the company's accounting operations in full compliance with current local legislation.
• Closings & Reporting: Take full responsibility for the preparation and accuracy of monthly and annual financial closings.
• Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate daily operations within the Financial Accounting department.
• Audit & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison and ensure close cooperation with statutory auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities.
• Asset Management: Oversee and take responsibility for the annual physical inventory and fixed asset counts.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate on the preparation of company budgets and short-term financial forecasts.
• Financial Analysis: Participate in monthly financial variance analyses and management reporting for the executive team.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage, monitor, and project company cash flow.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior accounting role (experience from a manufacturing environment is a significant advantage).
• Accounting Standards: Strong knowledge of Czech Accounting Standards (CAS) and a foundational understanding of IFRS principles.
• Taxation: Solid foundational knowledge of Czech tax regulations.
• Controlling & Project Management: Good understanding of financial controlling principles and project management methodologies.
• Technical Skills: Advanced IT literacy, with expert-level proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Language Skills: Czech – Native/Advanced, English - Advanced
