We’re looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join a newly established global IT team and play a key role in migrating workloads to Azure, modernising infrastructure standards, and building a secure, efficient cloud-first environment across multiple regions.
What you’ll do:
- Co-develop and implement the global IT infrastructure strategy
- Lead Azure migration projects and design secure, high-performing cloud environments (landing zones, backup, DR)
- Define and roll out a standardised LAN/WAN and SD-WAN setup for all sites globally
- Create and maintain a target infrastructure landscape – stable, secure, and cost-efficient
- Work closely with IT Security to ensure compliance and resilience
- Mentor junior engineers and help build a strong, high-performing infrastructure team
What you bring:
- Expert-level knowledge of Azure and virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Hands-on experience with data centre migrations, storage (SAN/vSAN), and cloud-based backup/recovery solutions
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN/SD-WAN technologies
- A proven track record of delivering in complex, multi-country IT environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across global teams
- Fluent English
