Your Tasks

  • Plan, lead, and coordinate customer and internal projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from project initiation to series production support.
  • Define project structures, create project plans, and establish work packages, deliverables, milestones, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate project stakeholders and manage interfaces between customers, suppliers, partners, and internal departments.
  • Monitor project progress, evaluate milestone achievements, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Negotiate contractual obligations with customers with inputs from Legal and other operational departments
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, commercial targets, and technical requirements.
  • Analyze customer requests regarding technical solutions, commercial conditions, project schedules, and lead the preparation of technical specifications and agreements.
  • Lead quotation and proposal preparation by evaluating technical, commercial, environmental, and operational risks.
  • Create and maintain business cases and margin overview across product life cycle
  • Provide data and input for cost calculations, compare quotations with customer orders, and clarify deviations.
  • Coordinate customer-specific activities and ensure successful execution of deliverables both internally and externally.
  • Lead damper development projects at customers using aligned project management framework
  • Maintain regular project status and provide overview to stakeholders
  • Drive customer satisfaction initiatives and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Lead technical discussions, project reviews, and design reviews with customers.
  • Continuously improve project management, collaboration, and development processes, including the implementation of best practices, methodologies, and training activities when required.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
  • Several years of professional experience in project management, engineering, technical sales, product development, or related industrial environment.
  • Experienced in managing customer projects from quotation through series production.
  • Strong understanding of technical products, engineering processes, and customer requirements.
  • Ability to evaluate technical, commercial, and operational risks and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional and international teams.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a structured and results-oriented working style.
  • Confident in leading technical discussions and presenting project status to customers and management.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken; German language skills beneficial.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with tools such as SAP, JIRA, and PLM systems.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies; experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban is an advantage.
